Quick Tips to Get Started with Accessibility
1. Label Headings, buttons and other elements of your website or app. Screen readers can navigate to specific elements if labeled properly.
2. Use dynamic text for app. This means that the text will automatically adjust to the size designated by the user for their device. It’s a helpful way to create “Large print” without needing to zoom or enlarge.
3. Describe images whenever possible. Screen readers can read coded descriptions instead of saying “image” which gives zero definition of what’s on the screen.
4. Offer a feedback or support link or contact for customers. This way no matter what your customer can be supported to partake in your services.
